Since our forthcoming publication of The Amphora Issue is concerned with reception studies, you might like to browse through the new Classical Reception Studies Network website.
The Classical Reception Studies network (CRSN) aims to facilitate the exchange of information and to encourage collaboration in the field of classical reception studies by bringing together departments and individuals from across the world. Classical Reception Studies is the inquiry into how and why the texts, images and material cultures of Ancient Greece and Rome have been received, adapted and refigured, used and abused in later times and often other places.
The CRSN is delighted to announce that its new website is now available at: http://www.open.ac.uk/arts/research/crsn/
On the website you will find information about our membership, news, events, copies of their monthly newsletter, podcasts and other material relevant to those interested in classical reception.
The CRSN is the UK counterpart to the Australasian Classical Reception Studies Network: http://www.acrsn.org/index.html
